Which porridge should I buy for my baby who is just starting solid food?
For babies six to eight months old, you need a very smooth and gentle flour. We recommend the Aunt Porridge Composite Flour for 6 Months Old Babies or the Minas Lishe Composite Flour. Both are easy to digest and help prevent constipation.
My child is nine months old and still underweight. What is the best flour for weight gain?
For older babies needing to gain weight, choose high protein and healthy fats. We suggest Minas Omena Porridge Flour with Fish (for protein and calcium) or NaNa Lishe Superfood Porridge (rich in fats from almonds and cashewnuts). Both boost healthy growth.
I am a nursing mother. Do you have a product to help me make more breast milk?
Yes! Use our Mama’s Pride Milk Booster Powder. It has natural herbs that gently stimulate your body to produce more breast milk. Just add two spoonfuls to your food or water daily.
How long will one kilogram of your porridge last for my baby?
A one kilogram pack usually lasts about three to four weeks for a six month old baby just starting out. For an older, active toddler, it will last closer to two to three weeks.

Are your products eczema friendly and gluten free?
Most of our porridges are gluten free because they use grains like Millet, Sorghum, and Corn. However, some do contain Wheat (like some Aunt Porridge flours). If your child has a gluten allergy, please read the ingredient list carefully before you buy.
Do Lishe Bora Kenya have side effects?
Our products are made with only natural organic ingredients and do not have side effects. We use real foods like sweet potatoes, yellow corn, pumpkin seeds, amaranth, brown rice, almonds, soya, sesame, and sorghum. We list all ingredients on every product page and on the packaging. Please always read the product page before buying to see the specific ingredients. We also have special eczema friendly products if your child has sensitive skin.
Where are your physical outlets or branches located?
Our main branch is on Tom Mboya Street, Axiom One Exhibition, 1st floor Shop no 55, opposite gill house ,entrance is next to Memphis Fish n Chips. We have branches in a few major towns to make it easy for you to buy our products. You can find our outlets in Mwembe Tayari (Mombasa), Nakuru, and Kisumu.
What are your opening hours?
Our outlets are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
